McIntosh MR71 Stereo Vacuum Tube Tuner w/ Original Box - Serviced & Working

For sale is a vintage McIntosh MR71 vacuum tube tuner. It comes with its original box and packaging - very rare to find. 

Cosmetically, this piece is in very good condition for its age, though it does show wear that you would expect from an item this old, and the chassis has some marks. There are scratches, swirls, and light pitting marks. I’ve taken a lot of photos so you can observe its true condition. Please take a look at them, they'll do a better job of illustrating its condition than words.

In terms of the functionality, this was taken to a technician to ensure it was working as it should and they performed a cleaning of the preamp - controls, switches, soldering. This was kept in as original condition as possible. Because it has original parts, and as with all vintage items, a part or parts could go out at any time, which is to be expected.
